Fruit Harvest

FRUITING is the process through which a plant becomes something we care about enough to name. It makes us know this plant as useful to us. This workshop focuses on the stories that need to be named. We find the stories from our lives that contain lessons and build a farmer’s almanac of fables.

This workshop pulls together college students who are learning the agricultural, horticultural, or forestry scientists with people who are farming in the field. We seek to make an exchange between generations of land management through the use of sharing the wisdom from stories .
